Charleston
When we heard it was going to be 75 degrees in Charleston on Friday, we just couldn't resist driving down for the day. We went downtown in the morning to shop in the market and eat some seafood for lunch. After lunch we headed to Folly Beach. The water was cold but it felt so nice to lay on the beach and Hudson loved playing in the sand.

Train Ride
Hudson absolutely loves trains. He has several toy choo choo trains that he plays with all the time. He can hear a real train from our house when he's playing outside and loves it. This past week we took Hudson to Stone Mountain to ride on the train around the mountain. I had no doubt he would love it. However, once Hudson was on the train and it started making noise he wasn't so sure about trains anymore. In fact, he was crying and quite upset. Thankfully, Maw Maw and Paw Paw were there. After clinging to them for dear life (he did not want mama), some funny faces from Paw Paw, lots of snuggling from Maw Maw, and some train songs over the speakers, he ended up having a great time.

This was his face when the train first pulled up and before he realized we were getting on it.

Happy Easter
Christ the Lord is Risen Today!
Christ the Lord is ris'n today. Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say: Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high. Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav'ns and earth, reply: Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King. Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once, He all doth save. Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
Love's redeeming work is done. Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won. Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise. Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise. Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led. Alleluia!
Foll'wing our exalted Head. Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise. Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies. Alleluia!
We had a wonderful Easter in Atlanta. Enjoy the pics!

Easter Egg Hunt
This past Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt that my sister's church in Loganville hosts every year. There were 25,000 eggs! The weather was perfect and Hudson had a great time playing with Grace. They had a carnival before hand where he got to color Easter pictures, jump in a big moonwalk and play with bubbles.

Wagon Rides
Hudson and I go on a wagon ride almost everyday, sometimes twice. Mama gets a little exercise going up all the hills in our neighborhood, Hudson gets some fresh air and we are both very happy. Today, Hudson decided to bring along Bear; his new favorite side kick. Bear is the first thing I ever bought for Hudson, shortly after I found out I was pregnant and long before we knew he was a little boy so Bear is very special to me too.

USC Baseball Game
I think we officially have spring fever. We are loving this warmer weather and the longer days. We went to dinner and the USC Baseball game with some friends yesterday. Hudson did great at the game and kept himself busy watching the ball, dancing to the music when the new batters were up, and of course cheering and clapping.
