Christmas!

We had such a fun Christmas. Hudson had a blast opening and playing with lots of new toys and getting spoiled by all the family. It was also so sweet to watch him and Grace together. We spent Christmas Eve at my parents for dinner, the reading of the Christmas story, opening presents, and eating a birthday cake for Jesus. After opening gifts from Santa on Christmas morning, we headed to my sister Amy's for the day for brunch and just hanging out, watching a movie and letting the kids play! The hit of the holiday for Hudson was a toss up between Elmo and some racing cars. We are excited to head to Pennsylvania tomorrow to spend some time with Eric's family. We're hoping for some snow!

Merry Christmas!

We're enjoying our time in Atlanta spending time with Carrie's family and lots of Christmas festivities. Hudson has been loving the Christmas season with all of the lights and decorations. It is such a blessing to be able to see his excitement and happiness. Our prayer is that he may always feel this same joy during this season and have a better understanding each year of the miracle of the birth of Jesus.

Hide and Seek

So this is how you play.
First, you find a cutie that looks a little like this.

Then, you find a back yard that has about two feet of leaves covering it that looks something like this.

Cutie in picture A finds car keys you left on the table and decides it would be fun to play in picture B. You then realize after about fifteen minutes, cutie no longer has car keys in hand. Thirty minute game of Where are mommy's keys begins.

Cutie amazingly understands game and finds where he hid the keys. He is so proud. Mommy is very relieved she is not going to be stuck in the house the rest of the day or have to send Daddy looking for a metal detector when he gets home.
