16 months

How can it be that my baby is 16 months old? At this age Hudson is loving giving kisses, wrestling (i'm serious) with Summer, climbing (his new found talent, i'm kind of worried), cheering for the gamecocks, pushing his lawn mower outside, looking at books, going on walks and wagon rides while we listen for trucks, planes, birds and squirrels, playing with sticks, dirt, rocks, and sand, throwing balls, having mommy and summer chase balls, "helping" mom cook, smelling flowers, and getting the mail. He is still sleeping great and we continue to hang on to our two naps a day unless we have morning plans somewhere. He is doing much better being left without Eric or I and seems to enjoy playing with new toys and friends. It is such a relief to not have to worry if he's crying the whole time we're gone. He is saying a few more words and seems to understand most of what we say. It is amazing to watch him at this age as he is learning so many new things everyday. We have been on the go a lot the past two weeks traveling to got to the USC/UGA game (GO GAMECOCKS!), and to Atlanta for one of my best friends' wedding showers so Hudson has had fun seeing Maw Maw and Paw Paw and Aunt Amy, Uncle Chad and Grace.

It's Greek to Me

I absolutely LOVE the Greek Festival and I go every year at least once. Last year Hudson was just a little thing so he didn't get to enjoy it too much. But this year he loved it. He got to eat some of my gyro and greek potatoes and share some of Eric's baklava sundae. Although the food was awesome, the highlight for him was dancing in the middle of the room with the other children to the Greek band. His moves are absolutely hilarious. I didn't get any great pics but here's a few to remember his fun day.

Faking a fall to get a little attention from the ladies.

His moves are so great all of my pictures turned out a little blurry:)

Has Anyone Seen Hudson?

Labor Day

We enjoyed a great Labor Day weekend! We spent part of the day at my aunt and uncle's house swimming and cooking out and we all had a great time seeing everyone. Hudson loved playing with my cousin's sweet little girl Katie. She was so cute giving him lots of hugs and letting him play with all her toys. Later that afternoon we had a great time at a festival in our neighborhood. We love our neighborhood and are so blessed to be surrounded by so many awesome families. Hudson had a blast running around, dancing to the blue grass music, getting lots of treats from everyone and getting to sit in a fire truck.
