Yes, can you believe it? Our itty bitty baby is eight months old. And not so itty bitty anymore. And as I find myself saying every step along the way, I love this age. He is really coming into his personality and enjoying discovering the world. He is still not crawling just yet but his army crawl has become quite efficient as he definitely gets to where he wants to go. Summer continues to be his best friend. Wherever Hudson is, Summer is right by his side. Summer is even so sweet to continually bring him her bones and toys. (Yuck, I know, Still trying to figure that one out.) Hudson continues to be a great eater and is trying new foods everyday. His current favorites are banana and yogurt. And of course, cheerios. We are amazed at times at how much food this boy can eat. He continues to love music and thinks his mama is a fabulous singer and dancer (please no one tell him any differently just yet). He loves the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus Loves Me, and Patty Cake. He also just recently learned how to wave and thoroughly enjoyed testing this new skill out at the grocery store today. Thankfully, everyone rewarded his efforts with a smile. Club volleyball is in full swing at our house and Hudson enjoyed flirting with the girls at the first tournament this past weekend. He loves to be around people to charm them with his smile, pull their hair, take their glasses, or give them a snuggle. We are truly blessed with a healthy happy baby.
My sister's little girl, Grace, turned one last Friday so we headed to Atlanta for the weekend to celebrate! On Friday night, we went out for Japanese as a family and on Saturday we went to her first birthday party! We all had a great time. Grace is such a beautiful, fun, sweet little girl and we all love her very much!
Hudson is very proud of his new tooth. That makes number two for the little guy. He is doing great and the new teeth don't seem to bother him a bit! He continues to love trying lots of new foods and testing those teeth out. They are very sharp. 
We took advantage of the beautiful warm day here in Columbia by heading to the park at the river. 75 degrees in January, you gotta love that!
